Quite stupid as I was, when I truely love my dear, I really wanna to give her the best of all; from spirtual lifehood to materialistic support. However, as I realized as a man I failed to provide the most important, and unable to provide the rest, I really would enjoy accepting or leading whatever ways my dear can have all the best in her importancy, until one day she found the most important somehow. In my opinion, although I enjoy seeing that happen, at the same time I worry given such would delay or even block her opportunity to reconigize and received the most important; be honest even if she owns the whole earth, eventually can she capable to accept the truth and sadness bringforth when she will be losing every single of those at the end? All the candies, all the LV's, sex..etc. "Don't love the world" from bible doesn't mean we are not living on earth or blocking all our desires, we can still fight for living and live richly in here, but upon most, don't love them, we can enjoy having them, like them, earn them, but don't love them because all will eventually pass away. This seems to be a very sad prospective as most of us will ask, so who or what should I love? The word is simple and once u realized just a little or even partially it's already too easy to have, and nothing to sad about -- GOD, love Jesus with the true meaning of his name.

hey perkin
even tho i don't understand completely what you mean, in my opinion, we only have one life--you only live once. it's true we can't take everything with us when we die. but when we are granted life, we want a good life, not a suffering life, at least, that is the attitude of the average man. and what do we need to survive? what is the most important? what is the basic necessity for survival? man works his way from there. i believe that it is only natural to demand for more, not less. i once said that you can't change another person's perspective on life, and it is true...i don't divert from this line of thought. i don't know if i should comment...but i guess that the everyday conversation/debates you hear every day at the dinner table is a reflection that no matter what, you always want someone to agree with you...

hee, thanks Rebe for ur comment sin. I'm happy that at least someone read my writting :)

hm.. I agree with this part la, "it's true we can't take everything with us when we die. but when we are granted life, we want a good life", since the term good is purely personal opinion for most people.

Indeed, what you've said have no conflict to what I've wrote, I wrote "don't love them" not necessarily mean "you gotta hate them!", as u've said it's 'nature' to be desire driven(how nature is yet another question), and how good is this nature for general or nature itself is yet another issue too.

So it's indeed no conflict for both beliefs, and this 'natural' u referring to, is just what the book of Genesis is all about--Sin.

Remember I once ask u a question about two people droped to sea and only one waterfloat? Indeed the only way we can get better/more not less is when someone is willingly share his 'works and rewards' with you to some degree isn't it? even if u say I buy it so I deserve it, but without that someone's willingness to sell 'his works', I never really deserve it.
Every works is base on some others, except God which we don't know.

Hey, we are the same Rebe, there's only one question, when this 'natural' does not bring good, what can u do? 'there's nothing u can do~ it's 'nature''

It's time for u to pray and believe Christ, you know? It is time. Look! look at the world

Back to the question on the waterfloat, a GOOD solution can be: both of them ask for another waterfloat from the one who gave the first waterfloat and pass the first one to other if he/she is closer to the coming second waterfloat, indeed there must a reason of why the first waterfloat is there with them anyway.
