Constructive Criticism or Persuasive Encouragement v.s Urgency or Memory management, but NONEs' Truth without receive His Spirit through His Words=believe His only way of salvation thru His begotten CHRIST Jesus=love n fear the unknowable GOD Father, now.
Let's recall a funny parable from one of my elders/pastors:
'There's a young pastor who once asked a senior sister in Christ who believed Him through the Bible said, "So sister, how was your devotion last week through your bible?" She replied ".. hm.. not much, just the same old." The pastor thought it might be nice to give her a devotional and/or interpretation book to help her get more inspired to God's word, so he gave her one of his series of book.
Few weeks later, the pastor approached her and was holding another one of his series,
"How's the book that I gave you before?" the pastor asked,
"It's great, I like it!" She said.
"Oh thank God, did you have better understanding now?" the paster asked,
Then the sister looked at her bible that she always holding and said,
"Yeah, thank God, His Words helped me understand what your book is writing about."
The pastor then repented and gave glory to God.'
Needless to say, all this is still my personal convention except God's Words. In the last day of the retreat this week, this passage had struck to my eyes:
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority." Colossians 2:6-10
Thus, how so shall we treat human matters like most sciences without God? 'universal mathematics'? Those religions and psychologies promote 'nice' false piety than repentance from owns sins for obey and follow Christ Jesus as Lord, starting with His Salvation through accepting Him as Savior/Messiah ONLY? How about those traditions or cultures that are sinful in God's prospective from His Words? Graces that were stolen from God and called as technologies, 'Bachelors' to 'Master degree', to human wisdoms? Whom deceptively be called as Life principles to do deceptively 'goodness' yet lead to death if without their willing hearts to have Christ, follow Him, and give glory to the Father. And what about all spiritual books or interpretation from different authors? What about my words here? For the title of this post is constructive criticism, and the body of this post is persuasive encouragement. Yet, even "If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal." 1 Corinthians 13:1 "For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears." 1Cor 13:9 None is perfect and seen as good in God except Himself, His Son Christ Jesus, yet we seen as good because of Christ, truly undeserving.
What I said is not relevant, but His Words really matters. Yet never meant you should despite
my writings, otherwise I won't even choose to write this. Same, I never meant you shouldn't use technologies like Internet, get a degree or certificate, take a Basic Life seminar, or read any spiritual books/blogs or even bible interpretations.
Once been asked 'How do you know what God want us to do in our lives?'
You might ask the wrong guy like me, but it's God's grace and gift that I be given to tell you this:
"Thomas said to him, 'Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?' Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. ...'" John 14:5-6
I'm nothing except a university failure, given part, write and quote in part here at the moment, thank God!
May you can know Him, through His Son, Christ Jesus, through His Words, the Bible, translated to bibles in different languages, projected to our hearts as we've chosen.
As one body, His church can glory to God, miraculously through Christ as head over every power and authority.
Let not our will, but You Will be done, my Lord,
and all Glory to Your Father through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
