26 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, you want to be with me because I fed you, not because you understood the miraculous signs. 27 But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man^[a] can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval.”

28 They replied, “We want to perform God’s works, too. What should we do?”

29 Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”

30 They answered, “Show us a miraculous sign if you want us to believe in you. What can you do? 31 After all, our ancestors ate manna while they journeyed through the wilderness! The Scriptures say, ‘Moses gave them bread from heaven to eat.’^[b]”

32 Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, Moses didn’t give you bread from heaven. My Father did. And now he offers you the true bread from heaven. 33 The true bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

34 “Sir,” they said, “give us that bread every day.”

35 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. 36 But you haven’t believed in me even though you have seen me. 37 However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them. 38 For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to do my own will. 39 And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day. 40 For it is my Father’s will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day.”

41 Then the people^[c] began to murmur in disagreement because he had said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” 42 They said, “Isn’t this Jesus, the son of Joseph? We know his father and mother. How can he say, ‘I came down from heaven’?”

43 But Jesus replied, “Stop complaining about what I said. 44 For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up. 45 As it is written in the Scriptures,^[d] ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me. 46 (Not that anyone has ever seen the Father; only I, who was sent from God, have seen him.)

47 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes has eternal life. 48 Yes, I am the bread of life! 49 Your ancestors ate manna in the wilderness, but they all died. 50 Anyone who eats the bread from heaven, however, will never die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live forever; and this bread, which I will offer so the world may live, is my flesh.”

52 Then the people began arguing with each other about what he meant. “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” they asked.

53 So Jesus said again, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you. 54 But anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise that person at the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. 57 I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me. 58 I am the true bread that came down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will not die as your ancestors did (even though they ate the manna) but will live forever.”

59 He said these things while he was teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

Many Disciples Desert Jesus

60 Many of his disciples said, “This is very hard to understand. How can anyone accept it?”

61 Jesus was aware that his disciples were complaining, so he said to them, “Does this offend you? 62 Then what will you think if you see the Son of Man ascend to heaven again? 63 The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life. 64 But some of you do not believe me.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning which ones didn’t believe, and he knew who would betray him.) 65 Then he said, “That is why I said that people can’t come to me unless the Father gives them to me.”

66 At this point many of his disciples turned away and deserted him.

This morning I had a dream and I want to record, coz otherwise I may forget it.

A host of a party spent his wealth to invite all his friends for free, Christian and non-Christian alike, see and unseen before... etc. At the end, there were so many people, that the host cannot even count or remember when he had encounter to the people who show up in his party. The party goes well, pictures of food, cakes, prepared or bought by him, all are more than abundant for everyone. Now while the party is going on, few instances occured;

there seems to be a building, structure like a giant shoe holder cupboard without doors, and for some reason, the host is on the top level that can browse his whole party, the top level is like the wide balcony with entrances in both ends, as the balcony get more and more crowded, stepping and noises are annoying to a girl who is sleeping in a level below. The host saw this and ask the crowd on his right side to leave, he saw the people in the middle of the balcony try to exit through the other way but are waiting until the crowd on the left exit.

it's a beautiful and touching moments as the host went to the kitchen and saw his friends, even those he don't know, or he don't remember when he knew, are working with love to serve his party, one brother came to him and ask for when and how he like to serve the cake in fridge, the host don't know this brother! or don't remember.

here comes the host's trials, as he went to the floor of the building and sense something happen in a spot of the left seats, someone tell him that someone has died there, immediately the host worry and first thing in his mind "Oh no, why? food poison...etc he realized is his responsibility, but then he really wish is not his responsibility by the reason of death, as he arrived to the spot he saw a doctor(one of his friends, but he don't know) is saying the one who is sicking by an exceeding stack of (a medical term) and need to go to hospital asap. Immediately there's another brother who take care of the sick and carry him out the party, while they are leaving, the host shout to them "may the Lord bless you!" Immediately the host reallized how bad he is and how easy to say than to be done, that truely the host didn't bless or take care of did anything good for this sick

Afterwards, a group of robbers and kidnappers came with weapons and lock the party in the area, everyone is gathered don't know what to do, including the host. These robbers demand that each one must pay what they had to them, everyone starts panic and try gather to come up with something, it is then the host cannot be hidden since people finally try to find out who is the host of the party, but for some reason the host was carried away from the crowd with few others close with the host, locked up behind bars, the robbers are securing the place. However, the host and the few can shout outside to the crowd and they can reply back. The host saw all this is happening and feel so bad how bad he is to bring all his friends into such a worst situation, without doing anything good in eyes of the Lord. Then one of the host's close one tell the host, speak to the crowd, but don't speak cantonese, otherwise the robbers will know what you are telling them. So the host immediately shout to the crowd in mandarin and english, the crowd listened to him: "Isn't it the Lord who gave us all these good food, things and fellowship we had before? We should now pray to seek Him, and give the robbers what they want." The all of the sudden a very bad feeling came to the host, the host realized again how wrong he have said, for so long he thought he is doing in the Lord's Will through giving out his resources to others, show love and care for others, but he missed the real catch, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, and the crowd must need to know the Lord and how sinners we all are and repent and believe in the Lord, instead of trying to ask the Lord to solve our problems like asking idols to do our views, and save us from troubles ahead that we deserved, all the host and crowd might care is food and play all day. The host then feel so sorry, and He shout to the crowd again, in Cantonese, we have sinned against the Lord, Repent! Perheps He will show us mercy no giving us the judgement we deserved, and know Him, Jesus Christ as your Lord, kindly ask whoever knows Him in the crowd to share gospel to your close ones now, and prepare for the worst, since the Robbers and kidnappers might not believe they can survive too if they let us go free today, But Jesus has already conquered death for us who love Him, and He tell us to love our enemies so please don't hate these Robbers and kidnappers and give more than what they asked for by His love for us.

the crowd came and believed the Lord and give the robbers what they want regardness for His love or just for survive. At the end, the robbers did kill all the people, including the host, and took all the wealth there are with them before they die, but some are deeply touch and came to believe the Lord, and return their processions to the one whom carried to the hosiptal, and tell them what happened, they all share wittness and testinmonies to the Lord and give glory back to Him, and return all wealth to the Lord, and organizing parties in the name of our Lord to invite all people, christian and non christian alike, Jew and Gentiles alike, Male and Female alike, Friends and Enemies alike, close onces and strangers alike, all sinners to enjoy the Lord's wealth given to each of us so might be one day, His mercy could extend to a point that one more person can repent his/her sins and be redeemed by the Lord. May His Will and Kingdom be done and Glory to Him forever and ever, Amen.
